An opportunity to make a difference

Andrew Redfern

We are deeply indebted to the members of our Board of Trustees who play a vital role in the running of Framework.

These very able volunteers support our Senior Leadership Team in navigating an external environment that is challenging and continually changing: budgets for support services have been drastically cut so we have to think carefully about how to create efficiency without compromising on quality.

The wide range of skills and experience which Board members bring to the table is invaluable.

As these are time-limited appointments we are continually refreshing our Board’s membership with new high-calibre appointees, so we are delighted to be joined this year by Jane Bethea and Tom Jackson. Thank you to everyone who took part in last autumn’s recruitment process.

From this week we are inviting further applications to join our Board.

We intend to make a number of appointments to the Board and are looking for people with a finance/accounting qualification.  An interest in audit and risk is also a requirement as we seek to strengthen our Audit and Risk Management Committee.

We are also keen to attract applicants who:

– share our values and ethos
– are committed to help make a difference in the life chances of the vulnerable people whom we support
– are located in and around the areas where we work (Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Sheffield).

Full details of the role and the application process are available here.

The closing date for applications is Monday 5 May 2025. Interviews will be held on Wednesday 21 May.

If you know someone who would be suitable please bring this opportunity to their attention!
